Best Solution for Joint & Muscle Pain
Unlike FlexC CARE, current pain relief options available may not target the root causes, i.e. inflammation, injury and wear-and-tear. This leads to a recurring cycle of pain and discomfort.
a) Steroid injection
Do you know that steroid injections do no good for joint pains, but instead, cause more harm? In a clinical trial, patients with knee osteoarthritis received steroid or a placebo (saline) injection every 12 weeks for 2 years. There was no significant difference in knee pain between steroid and placebo injection at any time during the two-year period. There were no changes in knee functioning, stiffness or walking (JAMA.317(19): 1967-1975 (2017)).Cartilage loss is the major cause of joint pain.Cartilage helps to cushion the joints, and the patients who received steroid injections lost significantly more cartilage than those who got the placebo. This is the exactly opposite of what patients and their doctors would want to happen.
b) NSAIDs medication
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen etc.) is most-used to ease joint pain, inflammation and stiffness. However, it accelerates joint and cartilage degeneration, contributing to the vicious cycle of joint discomfort.
c) Paracetamol / Acetaminophen painkillers (such as Panadol)
Not clinically effective in reducing pain or improving physical function in osteoarthritis.
d) Other creams or gels
With the ability to completely repair and rebuild, FlexC CARE provides faster and more long-lasting pain relief than other ointments available in the market
